Over the years, the Chair has carried out
scientific-technicalco-operation
in various fields of interest, through which several activities lead to
joint publication, with the following foreign Institutes:
- Department
of
Chemistry and Biochemsitry, University of California (Prof.
J. K. Gimzewski)
- Department
of
Chemistry
& Biochemistry, UCLA, (Prof. James Heath)
- Los Alamos National
Laboratory,
New Mexico (Prof. Morton Bradbury)

Within the framework of this co-operation several Ph.D. students
of the Chair of Biophysics (as Dr. Catasti at Davis, Dr. Gavazzo at
Worchester,
Dr. Carrara at Palo Alto, Dr. Vergani at Philadelphia, Dr. Adami and
Dr.
Sartore at Menlo Park and Murray Hill, Dr. Mariani at Utrecht, and Dr.
Pechkova at ESRF) spent several
months for a specialization stage. In turn, several foreign researchers
coming from the above mentioned Institutes are attending now or have
attended
in the past years the Chair of Biophysics for short and long-lasting
stages (more than 40 in these last years).
